@Zlargy Someone on Itch.io made a spiritual successor to Flipnote called Clipnote Studio. I thought it was pretty neat, but it needs some more development!

Oh yes, I’ve heard of clipnote. A very cool idea, and I heard the developer still plans to keep up with updates even if they release a flipnote on switch.

Poorly aged post. It's so sad that it was a well made April fools joke. They really got us good lol
Yeah i considered making a follow up but it almost feels right leaving this up showing how hyped we all were. At the very least it’s evidence of how much I want a new flipnote, and a lot of others too.

I'm pretty hyped about the rumor of Flipnote's revival too! I just wish that the Switch had a good stylus and better screen for drawing ;-; Would be pretty dope if they released the software on PC though!!!

A lot of people are concerned about the stylus issue from what I've heard. At the very least there exist some third party options that work. Don't take my word for it though cause I haven't used any of them, myself.
